hey,

im trying to gain weight (how i start most of my posts lol )

is it carbs that i have to stock up on or fats or protein.

i think its carbs..

i am not sure the best way to get my carbs, and if there are good and bad carbs..

any suggestions would help.. thnx :)
 
You need all of the above. In my opinion, carbs are the least necessary of the three. But to answer your question, all three are necessary to successfully bulk.
 
whole wheat bread is too highly processed - full of sugar. i don't recommend it at all unless it's special fibre bread.

sweet potatoes and yams are also good choices. i believe there is a good list at the top of the page.
 
Pack in protein, carbs and fat at every meal 5-6 X per day and you will grow. If you still won't grow slowly increase your serving sizes of each meal for a week at a time. If no increase in weight in the week further increase your serving sizes. Keep doing this until your notice an increase than keep your food intake there until the increase stops, then increase again.
 
large amounts of sugar (which is half fructose and half dextrose), fructose and high fructose cornsyrup should be avoided or used in extreme moderation when bulking.
