I am one of the few that gets coughing fits post injection every once in a while. I'm trying to understand the mechanisms at play here so I can minimize how often this happens.
Background: I have had coughs after injections as small as 1.5ml. I have quite a bit of IM-injection experience with my work, all injections are done in either quads or glutes, 1 minute per ml, slightly warmed in hands and always aspirated. Cough has come from Sustanon, Tren Acetate, Tren Enanthate, Testosterone Enanthate and Testosterone Propionate. Test E/P and Sust have been run without Tren with the same results.
From my understanding, a pulmonary oil microembolism is primarily caused by a large volume of oil causing a saturation of local lymph nodes, which blocks uptake into the thoracic duct and the 'overflowed' oil is getting dropped into the lungs and causing a cough.
Questions:
1. Given that I still cough after a 1.5ml injection, will breaking injections into smaller volumes show improvements?
2. Is overflown oil being purged in any way? Is my body going to continue metabolizing it as per normal, or will this have an effect on my overall testosterone levels?
3. Any suggestions to reducing problems?
Thank you!
