Does anyone have suggestions for bulking foods that won't cost too much?
My food bills cost more then my mortgage, sick.

Whole eggs are dirt cheap.

Whole milk is reasonable if you can handle it.

Chicken breasts and chicken wings in bulk are reasonable.

Bulk rice is dirt cheap.

Check for whole fat ground beef on sale...sometimes it's really cheap.

Frosty is right on the money
Whole milk is cheap and if you are not lactose intolerant it is a great bulking food.

Eggs buy them by the flat it is cheaper--shop around
I am not a big fan of hamburger, but I do like pork chops and they are usually cheaper than other meat
Protein powder is relatively cheap--a 5lb container for less than 25 dollars. Beans are cheap and if your digestive system can handle them are a good form of nutrition.

If you've got a big freezer, buy like a side of beef at a time and get it butchered. It's waay cheaper this way.

I love my freezer full o meat!

I got a whole cow for a total of $1.50/lb. Good deal :)

Skim milk is a pretty lame bulker food. A LOT less calories than whole milk. A cup of whole milk is 150 calories, and what's skim milk? 90 calories?

Drink whatever you can handle. I've done 2 gal per day.

At 4 or 5 cups a meal, and some inbetween, its alot easier than some people might think. I finished off a gallon today before meal 4.

I've been told that milk makes you gain excess fat, is that true?

Perhaps if you're sensitive to carbs. Some people claim that it increases subqutaneous fluid, but that's not increasing fat.

In fact, there are studies that indicate dietary calcium from dairy products can actually help people lose fat.

TRUE DAT

Just to play the devil here I hope none of you who have trouble making ends meet as far as eating like a bodybuilder goes arent planning your cycles at the same time.

Food first then the other stuff can follow not the other way around

doesnt make sense to drop hundreds on a cycle when you cant afford to eat on one

True. It would stupid waist to buy tons of crank then have no cash to eat.
I'd just prefer to spend cash on other things rather then expensive foods. I was checking for some cheaper alternatives for gaining.

Hate to bring up the obvious, but how about tuna?

1 6 oz. can of tuna contains about 43 grams of protein and 13 g of fat, if you buy the tuna in oil. O carbs and costs about 79 cents on sale for white albacore.
All in all, a win win situation. There's always the mercury level issue, but if you're pumping sesame or cottonseed oil into your muscles EOD, then I think you can live with a little extra mercury. :D
