Cheap weight gainer

Something I thought of tonight for those of you who are lazy and or broke.

2-3 scoops protein powder (240-360c)
Raw eggs as you please (70c each)
1/2 cup-1 cup pancake mix for an extra 210-420 calories

You should need around 3 cups of water to mix this up even reasonably however, or of course milk if you can stand it. I chug my shakes I dont go for flavor, if you are a flavor freak obviously this isn't for you.

I still find that the cheapest weight gainer is whole milk--drink lots of it and you will gain weight. A gallon of whole milk is less than 3$ at many stores. I've been drinking a gallon a day for almost 5 months now.

2 gallons of milk where I live is $3.18 or so, unfortunately it gives me insane gas after about a week. I have become lactose intollerant because I was off of it for about a year, despite growing up with about 3/4 gallon daily.

Back when I use to do some heavy duty bulking,I use to eat ice cream mixed with peanut butter. It tasted great and had mega calories.

True, rasberry jam is also really good. I used to add PB to vanilla ice cream.

Raw eggs are useless....

Myth, Dr. Mercola prefers if one were to cook them at all, just dont use an iron skillet if you keep the yolk. The only useless food is the food that goes uneaten.

Maybe or maybe not. Raw egg absorbtion cant compare to cooked egg for the simple fact its raw. Now egg beaters can because they're not exactly raw.......

Albumen in the urine is a general sign, as studies show that a significantly higher amount of malabsorbed protein (egg) was found in the urine of healthy individuals (1). Stable isotope techniques are used to determine the digestibility of raw eggs vs. cooked eggs. In another study, using this method, it was demonstrated that the assimilation of cooked egg protein is efficient, albeit incomplete, and that the true ileal digestibility of egg protein is significantly enhanced by heat-pretreatment (2). Heat-pretreatment of course being cooked.
Not to mention you have a 1 in 30,000 chance to get salmonella from a raw egg. Also, if you blend raw eggs or whatever, you can break up the chemical bonds of amino acids where as cooking them can hook the bonds together, which inevitably is the objective.

One of my friends raises chickens so I get 2 to 3 dozen free eggs every week, but eggs are a great bulk up food. Along with drinking lots of milk I also eat lots of eggs. Along with heavy basic lifts, squatting and deadlifting I have managed to put on a substantial amount of weight.

I have done the Double Whopper with cheese diet, I got fat as hell. I like mixing in some Nat. PB with ice cream in my protein shake.

Peanut butter is another good weight gainer and it can be found fairly cheap, go towards the natural peanut butters because the rest are too loaded with sugar.

They also add salt and take out some of the peanut oil to throw in cottonseed oil (etc)

Lately I have seen frozen turkeys for a very low price, that is a lot of meat for a little cost. I have a big freezer in the basement so I bought 5 turkeys--they were very inexpensive compared to other meats.
