Cigarettes And Fitness Question

I am banned!
From PERSONAL experience do think cigarettes effect YOUR personal training? (Not looking for scientific facts or evidence)

because some ppl workout and smoke but don't feel that there workouts are being hindered by the effects of nicotine

Nicotine isnt as bad compared to all the other shit in cigarettes...
Nicotine is linked more to the addiction side of it. That's why they.sell nicotine gum and patches to give you the nicotine your body craves and prevent you.from inhaling all the other chemicals and poisons.

And I know plenty of people that workout and smoke and seem to be doing just fine...but their results would be much better if they didn't due to lack of oxygen being taken in by the lungs.

They're results will be hindered before someone who doesn't smoke...it usually catches up with you...

do you think cigarettes can play a benefit towards diet, now b4 u start thinking am im talking about eating cigarettess let me elaborate lol....for instance if im cutting i tend to smoke Newports because for me they help curb my appetite and if im trying to get more calories in i smoke pall mall menthols, for some reason they make me eat all day...science can't explain that, reason y iDidn't want any facts

Actually it doesnt matter...just ciggs and AAS us a huge no no...

Look there are NO health.benefits of.ciggs...they do not help your diet...if anything it's making you lose muscle while you diet Down

iWasn't implying that there's a "health benefit" iDobut anybody would say or agree to that....what im saying is "can it be used TO benefit you"
what evidence do you have that they don't, iJust gave u an example how they help mine plus it takes me 3-4days to smoke a whole pack so even if it dose hinder muscle gain.....to what extent at that rate??? there's no way to "scientifically" prove that

No there is no formula to how it impacts muscle catabolism...
Everyone is different...
Just like some people.smoke their.whole life and live to 90 and others die at 50 of lung cancer.
I'm just looking at it as a risk vs reward idea...the.benefit it.has on your.appetite cannot be compared to the negative effects it has on your body.
And if that benefit is worth it to you then best of luck brother...but I can't see any benefit other than suppressing your appetite...

If you wanna increase your.appetite there are other things you can smoke with far less health risks lol

I smoke the occasional cigar now...As far as that goes it affects nothing IMO. Then again you do not inhale so the lungs are not taking a beating as with a cigarette.

You ever thought about vaping? The nice high end vaporizers where you buy the flavored oils? Insane, more nicotine for a lower cost with alot of the health issues removed. Low grade E-cigs though are probably worse for you than a real cig.

I have been on a while researching here and this thread got my attention.
Cigs have no health benefit @ all however it does have an effect when training esp cutting.it speeds up your metabolism hence an indirect form of weight loss. I stopped smoking a few weeks ago and using the Ecig now after abt 16 yrs of heavy smoking, not as bad as I thought it was gonna be. As for hindering muscle gains or endurance when training from my experience it has zero effect if I compare results from myself and none smokers.but everyone is different I guess...

I've seen some data that nicotine can be used as a fat burner.....but just nicotine....NOT cigarettes and all the other additive bull$hit that's in them

im a smoker and i dont notice anything. but then again, i do notice feeling much better when i do quit. ive quit already like 3 times haha. about 5 months and then im on again. meh. but no, i have no issues with smoking afterwards.
