I'm really disappointed in the negative attitude displayed in this thread. Is it optimal that he started at 18 no. It's pretty stupid. That over and done we can support him in his recovery. Time to shelve the attitude .

I took my first pin at age 17.. Thought I knew something, but was so lost.. Ended up spending weeks in the hospital on anti biotic iv. We've all been that age and been over zealous but not so smart.
Keep being zealous and living and learning and you'll succeed, though you'll have to pick yourself back up again along the way,, being zealous is good, go,after it live and learn

OP... wait at least a month after PCT is finished to get blood work done, waiting 2 or 3 months would be even more effective
