i want to bulk up my tris and i hear that this is the best excercise?i do chest on mon and tris on tues,is this aliright to do close grip right after i do chest on mon?
Every other week I'll train triceps(arms) and chest on different days. When I do I just do flyes/shoulder raises for my chest that week. I'd say dips and skull crushers work great for building tricep mass.
decline medium grip works the hell out of tris. do them on bench day so you dont risk overtraining the shoulders. dips hit them about the same. very similar motion
I read alot of old time shit. Came across lying extensions, but with dumdells! I know, it sounds funky but the different stress really got my tri's going. Lower them to behind your head and let your wrists follow thier natural turning path. Make sure the tri's are totally warm first. But not the day after chest, give it like 2 days.
Close grip is real good,as good or better than dips. 37 years old. Too many stupid things when I was younger. Lying DUMBELL extentions will do you good.Warm up first.
