I have lost 25 pounds plus 3 times in the last 15yearsvarious reasons including losing an eye and knee in a breach gone bad, a drug overdose and now
prostate cancer. Different reasons, different systems ruined but same outcome------looong hospital stays followed by either reconstructive surgery plus physical rehab, drug rehab after a 20 day coma then pre and post surgery chemo. ( Ask for no details in any pm s please. I m not being a dick but I get a lot of mail boys. If I m willing to share in the open ....you should too. I ll not allow any badgering if your honest)
Last year I had pain during and after orgasm so.....a growth was found on my gland---chemo---surgery...then surgery again last fall. Nuff said.
Now those of you who know me know I am a very impatient s o b. However at 50 ish I have learned that the human body is one forgiving miracle of creation, evolution whatever your beliefs are...I ll not go there...ever. I went and dropped 400.00 dollars of beef, fish chicken and so forth. Ate real good for a couple weeks and just exercised. Walks and stretching plus push ups and pull ups.
About 10 weeks ago I was back to 180 ish and then started with compound movements and ( as it was determined my cancer was not from (aas) bumped my trt to 200 mgs test e 5 th day from (100 a week). A month later I was at 190, very very lean and bumped my test to 300 e 5 th day.
I am now 206 naked and though smoother than I d like am feeling good. I ll not post weights moved as it is irrelevant. Due to my years of pounding weights, kicking butt at work etc. , I am a bucket of broken worn parts. I do a lot of warming up, pre-exhaust traininng and doing sets of 12-20 when it involves a joint that will not bear heavy weights. ( example instead of benching 225 on incline for 8-12 I am doing 155-185 to failure 12-20 reps)
With volume and my heavy trt I am convinced volume plus calories will get me to where I want to be 212 lean. The moral of this story is----PATIENCE GRASSHOPPER.If you are dealt a blow from injury stemming from an accident, a poor life choice or bad luck do not brood or cuss. Save that for the old folks home. Assess where you are. Envision where you were or want to be and then go get what you want.
If an old fart like me can get over getting shot, losing an eye, dealing with paralysis in my feet from being comatized due to a bad habit, beat cancers ass and still sit back, wipe away my tears and those of the 3.6 people that love me and pull myself out the dull drums and once again be the meaty guy in line at WAL MART you can to. Stick to the basics, work around injuries, do what you can do but go do it damn it..... anyone can. Really.
I really want the young guys to tattoe this to their brainYou got time to build your perfect beast. You will get there quicker if you slow down and do it right.
