Complex Carbs

When should they be taken? I usually train late. Anywhere from 7-9. I do one muscle a day which only takes me an hour or so. I will now be doing cardio, i'd say at least three times during the weekdays. When should I eat complex carbs? When I weight train, I am usually weaker because I did cardio so I am trying to prevent that from happening. Thanks guys
 
Do cardio after weights, not before.

Complex carbs are taken with every food if you are bulking except for PWO shake (here you take dextrose/maltodextrin).

Take also complex carbs 1h before training.

That's pretty much what I do.
 
cardio after weights NOT BEFORE. the reason you are weak for weights is because you have used a majority of your carb sources which give you energy. cardio is most beneficial when this is low therefore you do cardio after weight so basically you use the energy for the lifting and once you are carb depleted you do cardio which burns more fat! that is why it is suggested to do cardio on an empty stomach for fat loss in the morning becasue you are carb depleted. but you can warm up 5-10 minutes before lifting to warm the muscles and increae blood flow.
 
When you have a lot of protein in a meal you also need complex carbs as a compliment. Lot's of green veggies are the best complex carbs you can eat with a high protein meal.
 
I don't do cardio before weights. I do it after but the next day, I feel weaker. That happens every time I do cardio.
