Considering cycling - scrawny guy

I am 208 at 15% and getting leaner. While I wouldn't eat the grains and sugar you are, I'd call your daily intake about right for a meal. If a meal is a pound of meat and pound of vegetable and a half pound of potato or sweet potato, and you do that twice a day then you'll have enough to build.

Eat as much meat as a pure carnivore plus more vegetables than a vegetarian and you're getting close.

Bro, I am totally gonna steal that for my first Sig if you don't mind.
Something along the lines of

Eat more meat than a carnivore, more vegetables than a vegetarian and that will be a good start.

Go for it! I enjoy telling people I'm a vegetarian. When they nod knowingly, I say "Well, a lacto-ovo-porcine-bovine-pesca-vegetarian to be more precise." I crack myself up. It's real though, I don't like birds.
