considering For the first time...but completely uneducated

Hello all. This first post will be a little broad as I just want a general all around input to further base any questions. I am looking to start taking something a little more serious to help in the leaning out process. I work out hard 6-7 days a week but due to my working for the government I can not keep my diet as strict as I'd like to all the time (I go out to sea every 3 months or so). My husband told me to get some in put from other females who have taken steriods before. I'm about 5'1 and 126lbs. Not too sure about body fat % but probably 20 or so. I'd like to be down to 15% at some point. Any knowledge is greatly appreciated. I am completely open minded to this. My diet consists of fish, vegatables, fruits and a lot of organic stuff that does not contain artificial sweeteners or high fructose corn syrup. When on the ocean I am limited to tuna fish, salads, almonds, dried fruit and lots of protein shakes. I'm about to head out for a bit but will be back tonight to go further into detail with anyone who is willing to take the time. Thank you all for at least reading!
 
The first thing I would say is if you are feel you are ready to do a cycle, do it when you are docked.

Why do it on the sea? How often are you at home (on land)? It would be best to do it when you can really control your diet and training.

Is this possible?
 
yes. I am usually docked for an equal time that I'm out at sea. 2 and a half to three months.

My diet is as strict as I can get it while on the boat. I can only bring so much of it with me due to the inability to keep it in a fridge or freezer. I am also at the mercy of the cooks on the boat. Just about everything the boat makes for meals is processed, frozen and/or fried. I eat as clean as possible while home.

My next question is, what is a good starter for someone who has never taken steriods before. My husband and I were concerned with the male characteristic side effects: facial hair, loss of breasts, deepened voice, ya know, the standard concerns with a female. He is currently starting is own cycle of testosterone. I would like to know what you ladies out there use and in your experience which ones have worked well for you. I lift heavy (for me) at the gym so intensity is no question with me. Just looking for that little extra edge in the gym.
 
Okay.....you should do you cycle on land since you can. That way you can control your diet.

A good first cycle is anavar. Start low at 2.5 or 5 mg....see how you do on that and watch closely for all of the side effects mentioned about. Although loss of breasts does not occur.....a lower body fat may. Cycle for 6-10 weeks and see how you do. You must keep your diet and training strict while on cycle to see any affects. Steroids only work when diet and training are on par.
 
What is an Anavar cycle like? every other day, every third day? which do you suggest. My husband and I are going to look into it. I read about the side effects and such. Doesn't seem too bad if kept at a low dose. I tend to have a high tolerance for most things, except for alcohol lol. Thanks for the help!!
 
Anavar is taken every day. However I suggest you spend some time going through threads in the ladies section so you can get a better feel for basic AAS use before you try it yourself.
