Could someone please give a quick rundown of my first cycle?

Hey guys, new to the forum. I've been lurking pretty much every aas form for the last year... read pretty much every sticky on every forum, planning out my first cycle, decided that this one was probably the best one to ask about my cycle on (less politics, more knowledgeable people, etc)

So most places ask for stats before anything else, so:

Almost 19 (I know young, but I've been seriously training [with a team that knows what they are doing] for years, and considering I currently have a life long (not anything that will affect a cycle) problem, I understand what long term effects the cycle can have. I really do understand the risks, and to ME, they are worth the potential gain.

5'9'' 200 lbs @ 12%

Cycle will be like this (still verifying source for test, but I'm confident in them, no problems here):

Test ethanate: 500 mg/ week for weeks 1-12 (250mg 2x weekly)

Liquidex: .25 EOD first problem I'm having is here, can't figure out if I should run this into my post cycle therapy (pct), or just end it 2 weeks after last injection Logic would tell me to run it into my post cycle therapy (pct), but there might be something I'm missing that you guys know

HCG: 2 week's pre cycle, according to this site I end it 10 days after last ethanate injection. 500 IU's / day.

PCT: Stuck deciding between Clomid (tried and true) vs Torem... I've eliminated nolva from the mix, but can't decide between these ones. Staying on from week 14 (2 weeks after end of cycle) to 18+ depending on bloodwork

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

is the 500 iu/day of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) correct? or did you mean 500 iu per week?

i would run the Aromatase inhibitor (AI) into your post cycle therapy (pct), but i was also wondering about this and trying to research it earlier so don't take my word for it

good stats for a natural, you're gonna be a beast after your cycle

typo... 500 would be split up per week, though I'm not sure on taking it, lots of posts I've been reading say not to bother with a 'light' test only cycle

and I"m the smallest low 200's you'll ever see (though I've weighed in over 210 after a meal wearing shoes) ... people guess I weigh like 180 :(

It is your call but your age will get you limited help if any on most of the forums. By know means does that mean for you to go lie about it and props for being up front and honest. So many younger people will lie about their age to get the advice. That being said what is your diet like? A diet that is dialed in for your particular goals can get pretty impressive results. Remember that it is 80% diet.

Yeah, I understand age is a 'problem', but after talking it over with people in real life who started early, doing research online, and assessing long term risks and rewards, I've come to the conclusion that it's the right choice for me.

I'm pretty happy with my diet. I have a gallon of skim milk a day, half a box of pasta, half a can of natural spaghetti sauce, 3 meatballs (home made, 3/4ths of a pound of lean ground beef), 2 packets of ramen (unflavored, just use them for the cheap carbs), 1 lb of either sirloin beef or round, and flavorings for it.

It all comes out to just a

gallon of skim milk a day (1300 cals, 130 grams of protein)
Spaghetti and meatballs: (800 cals and 25 grams of protein from spaghetti)
(~550 cals and 70 grams of protein from meatballs, not near exact measure)
Not listed: pasta sauce with barely any protein, lots of carbs (300 calories?) and fats
Round steak: (950 calories, under 100 (rounded) grams of protein
Ramen: 900 calories, 25 grams of protein (rounded down)

Whey shake (on gym days) 250 calories, 50 grams of protein

So total: Around 3900 calories average, 350 grams of protein.

I'm very happy with my diet. I've tried IF, Ive tried 6 meals a day, (I'm a powerlifter btw) but with this diet I've always been able to eat this + whatever snacks/meals I want with friends, and maintain strength gains, weight gain, and a steady body fat %.

Just remember if ur not done growing starting at an early age might cause premature growth plate fusion..and that doesn't just mean you wont get taller, ur bback wont be as wide and neither will shoulders since ur clavicles will also stop growing as well. Not bashing you bro, just making sure that u were aware of these risks. And no it didn't happen to all people, but it is always a possibility.

Yeah I'm aware of the height thing. I've always looked very similar to my older brother (3 years my senior), and when you compare our growth charts, they're virtually the same. That being said, he hasn't put an inch on height wise (or matured physically in any other way) in almost half a decade, and my growth has followed the same pattern. My back is already (surprisingly) much wider than his, though I think you were more referencing clavicle width when you talked about limiting growth. While I would like to have wider clavicles (who wouldn't?) I'm already much wider than most people I know, and if my brother is anything to go by, I can't really expect any horizontal growth from here on out.

Yea bro if ur done growing I'd say go for it man, just be smart about it. I am not recommending that u start now, better to wait a few more years, but Lets be honest, a lot of people aren't going to wwait. So just be smart about it bro and you should fine! Just let us know If u need any help withanything!

Dude, your diet looks like shit. You're eating ramen and spaghetti and meatballs and you're satisfied with your diet and think you're ready to jump on AAS? really?

Its not actual ramen, its rice noodle. That and the spaghetti (the meatballs are closer to just burgers, its just ground up meat with seasoning (no stuffing) added) are easy ways to get in extra carbs.

run your dex all the way through your pct.

Never tried Torem personaly but i know clomid works well. that combined with some Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) and you should be g2g

Yea ur diet could be a lot better. Only reason I didn't say anything is cuz he stated he's a powerlifter, and that he has tried other things, but this is wat works for him. If its working and ur happy with it then keep at it bro! Just know that you could make some improvements to it tho..

The problem with dieting is pretty much: I'm at 12% (some people guess lower based on pics, but being honest with myself I'd say closer to 12%), and as a powerlifter any leaner (without drugs anyways) = loss of strength, as well as fewer and further between pr's.

Just wondering though, as my cycle isn't for another 6 weeks or so in all likelihood, what changes would you personally make to my diet? I've always been pretty proud of it to be honest.... lots of protein, lots of calories.... etc.

Welll generally in powerlifting type diets I don't believe a lot of them ate 6 times a day. But bigger meals less frequently. At least that's wat I was fought from a former 4x world record holder, his name is David Muns. He's an old timer u may or may not have heard of him. But I'd incorporat a lot of beef..a lot of whole grain pastas..brown rice. But BIG portions. In the morning u could throw in fruit to get that initial insulin spike first thing in morning. Always make sure ur breakfast, post workout and bed tine meals r spot on. Have lots of slow digesting carbs (casein, Greek yogurt, or cottage cheese and some fats. Low carbs at night of course.

I grew a couple of inches between HS and college. Be happy with your linear growth...because after AAS it is finished.

Yeah, I don't know of any powerlifters who have 6 meals a day... not to mention when I tried, I didn't notice any gains in strength or size, or decrease in bodyfat. I have almost 2 lbs of beef a day as is (1.75+), already have whole grain pasta (spaghetti), and I guess I could substitute rice noodles with brown rice. Portions as is are already pretty big IMO, lol. The fruit in the morning is a good idea, I can give that a shot, already have the slow digesting night protein (through milk)

Not a single member of my family (asked father, mother, brother) (or extended family (didn't ask them, just observations) has grown at all since their 2nd year of highschool. If you're referring to linear gains in the gym... I haven't had those in years... .lol

Yea brown rice would be better. And IMO whole foods will be WAY more sufficient than milk. Bottom line tho if ur hiring ur correct macros then ur good to go bro.

Also some fruit pre wokout and pot workout not bad idea either. Especially post workot. I believe the best way is to have 50% of the carbs from dextrose and 50% from maltodextrin. But I just use a supplement called karbolyn for my post workout glycogen replenishment

I'll ususally grab an apple pre workout... didn't think that was significant enough to really be a part of my diet plan. I'll look into karbolyn for post workout though, insulin spikes with whey protein sounds like a good idea
