Creatine & Protein Help

Creatine

Just started taking creatine....Anyways, what is the general consensus on mixing it with your protein shake? I searched the forums and found one thread where a user stated that it won't get absorbed correctly, but others disagreed. If they DO need to be taken separately for best results, how long of a time period needs to exist between servings?

Also, I am currently mixing it with gatorade. It seems to all sink to the bottom though. I have heard some people putting it directly on tongue and then taking a gulp and downing it that way. Would that be better?

Edit: I just held some gatorade in my mouth and then dumped the 5g of creatine in it. Not too bad actually!
