Creatine

Sounds like a stupid question but what do you guys think the most effective time to take creatine is.

I was figuring after a week or after loading its in your body anyways so it may not matter whether its taken before, after or during the workout. But I wanted to ask on here and see what people though, or what they found was more effective, as effective as creatine can be.

Thanks.

Personnally, since i've taken creatine quite a few times in the past; i skip the loading phases now. I like to take a mono-hydrate pill prior to working out; and then a kre-alkalyne pill (or powder if i can find it) post work out with my PWO shake. i find that the mono-hydrate pill helps with energy and pumps as i drink a lot of water during my workout. and the kre-alkalyne post w.o helps replenish and fuel my muscles to absorb alot of the protein and post w.o. nutrients i try to consume.
i think alot of it has to do with personal preference and how your individual body responds to each... honestly, trial and error (with supported advice) is the best to determine what is ideal for you.

best of luck

Buy Creatine Monohydrate, its cheap and it works.

Take it whenever.

Some people take it pre workout, some post workout, some in the am, and some in the pm. In the grand scheme of things it really won't make a difference.

Next time I use Creatine I will probably split up my dose and take it three times per day. My reasoning = creatine kills my appetite if I take over 5g at a time. So I will take 10g split in 3 - 4 doses.

I use it post-workout along with a sugary drink (i.e. fruit punch). Also, I find insulin potentiates the effects of creatine greatly. I'm not suggesting you use insulin, I'm just relaying my experience.

I take the pureCEE and take 3 with my preworkout supps (BCAA, L-Arg.., L-Glut, Beta ..) and 1 more postworkout. Seems to work well.. plus no bloat, water, etc..

Creatine with arginin alpha-ketoglutarate, work as well... and don't makes bloat.
A little bite expensiv, it depend the brand of-corse.

creatine Mono pre or post

actuayll the best bang for your buck is pure creatine monohydrate, works well and is cheap. Ideally you should take post workout with some sort of waxiemaize or glycomazie. Pre work out is okay but may cause some gi distress.

for comfort sake I simply throw it on my PWO shake along with the whey and carbs so that I dont end up spending too much time on the kitchen
