Critique Diet

Hello All,

I am attempting to bulk, as 'cleanly' as possible, at least for me. I came up with the following diet and wanted to see what people thought, I work third shift, so this is why the hours might seem a bit different:

Breakfast (6pm)

6 Eggs
2 Slices of Toast
2 Cups of Oatmeal with whey protein mixed in

<workout 8pm>

Lunch (9:15pm)

Hamburger w/cheese on whole wheat bun
Cup of veggies

Snack (midnight, 3am, 6am)

2 Peanut butter sandwiches

** With two slices of bread and the right amount of peanut butter, I figure each snack is around 500 calories, I know this is alittle bland but it is very easy to make and have while at work **

Dinner (9:45am)

Steak
Baked Potatoe
Cottage Cheese

Throughout the day I will also be drinking plenty of water as well as half a gallon of milk. I estimate calorie intake is going to be over 4,000 and with my choice of foods I 'think' it is pretty clean.

Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks!

4,000 kcals? how long have you been on this diet and have you gained any? what is your training like? are you a "hardgainer"? fill me in.

True. could shed a little light on yourself stats, how long youve been lifting, are you a hardgainer.

Personally I wouldnt consider a cheese burger part of a clean bulk, throw in some more veg and a wider variety of protein sources like mentioned chicken, tuna, turkey things of that nature there cheap and a good source of protein, and add other forms of complex carbs brown rice, wholewheat past maybe a sweet potato now and again this will release energy thru out your shift.

Just at a glance aswell Im not sure if you have anything pre or post workout which is a key time to get kcals in to your body might be worth a look at.
