Critique my diet

See the light
I was wondering what kinds of comments people have on my diet and what they think I should change:

6:00 - 1 cup of oatmeal
7:00 - N-Large protein shake + flax oil + cottage cheese + yogurt
8:00 - bag of carrots
9:00 - bag of almonds
10:00 - chicken breast and whole wheat pasta
12:00 - chicken breast and mixed frozen veggies
2:00 - chicken breast and mixed frozen veggies
4:30 - 2 whole eggs + 4 egg whites + salsa
5:00 - no carb protein shake
Workout
7:00 - no carb protein shake + banana
8:00 - chicken breast and mixed frozen veggies
9:45 - chicken breast or tuna

Thanks

you should throw in some carbs before and after workout. I usualy use a 3:1 ratio carbs to prtein befroe and immediatly after my workout.

Get rid of the banana post workout. Fructose is a no no afte lifting. It is like committing muscle suicide. The only acceptable sugars after lifting are dextrose and maltodextrin. Or if you don't have either of these even table sugar is acceptable. BUT NO FRUCTOSE.

Other than that, try and making all those little meals one meal. You tend to eat just fats for one meal, or just protein for another. A meal should always consist of some kind of protein source and some kind of carb source.

You completely contradicted yourself.

Did you know table sugar is almost HALF fructose?

Did you also know that bananas are high in starch and only have 30% fructose?

Fructose is not commiting muscle suicide. If you ate ONLY fructose, sure, but no fruit contains 100% fructose. Generally speaking most fruits are 50% fructose and 50% glucose, while bananas are only 30% fructose due to the 30% starch content. This combined with the high GI makes bananas a good choice post-workout.

Glucose is a good sugar as well, and most fruits are about half glucose (bananas being 60%).

Don't worry about getting in some fructose...the dangers of fructose from real food is totally overrated. High fructose corn syrup, on the other hand, now that is a different story...
