Cutting at the End of a Bulking Cycle..

Hey everyone !! 1st thanks for all the help you guys provided previously..

Stats : 180lb, 5.7", 14-15% bf, 25 y.o, 4 years b.b..

So I'll be starting my cycle (Test E, HCG, Ai, PCT), and I'll be finishing at summer time, and i'll have to wait 3 - 4 months to be able to Cut..

1- Is it possible to extend my cycle to 16 weeks without probs (12 weeks bulking, 4 weeks cutting) ?!

2- Will i be able to keep my new 12 weeks gains while Cutting ?! Cuz i'll still be using Steroids through the 4 Cutting weeks..

Of course after last pin i'll be eating at maintenance, even through the PCT and after till my Test levels gets back to normal..

And no, i won't be using any other Compounds, Test E is enough for me to cut..

when you take 3-4 months to bulk on a cycle, your body has not yet reset its "homeostasis" this is exactly why we have maint phases in bulking and cutting..

when youve been bulking for 3-4 months i can only imagine your calories are going to go up, taking them down with 4 weeks left to pct is a big mistake and you will tax muscle

taking your calories to maint at pct is a mistake, you keep eating at bulk levels (shit i add 10 percent calories to all my clients in pct) and you train just as hard or harder.. you want to keep the muscle.. you keep those calories up for 4-6 weeks after pct and then go back to maint.

stay in maint for at least 4-6 weeks, then cut.... or pay the muscle tax..

You are not going to get better advice that what you just got above ^^^^^^^^.

If I could add anything it would be why are you thinking about a bulk & cut type mentality? Unless you are a bodybuilder prepping for a stage that's a pretty silly approach. Just set your goals to lean bulk year round and forget getting sloppy fat to gain a few extra pounds of muscle.

- Keep up Bulking Calories after last pin to PCT, Through PCT and 4-6 Weeks after, then go back to maintenance. (10 - 12 Weeks after last pin).

But, wouldn't that mean waiting 2 - 3 months only after PCT to go on gear again ?! Is this ok ?! Shouldn't i wait (time on + Pct) which is 18 weeks before i start cycling again ?!

Or you mean Cutting naturally ?! I only cut through diet, cardio and weight lifting, I'm only attending to use Steroids to maintain muscle while Cutting..

It's not that im obsessed with fat percentage, hell i don't even care to dirty bulk Sometimes if i feel tired of killin my self with picking food up, but when the summer comes, i wanna make sure that this fat will never see the sun light :p

Muscle tax, ^^^ I like it :laugh: cut those calories too soon and you will be feeding
off muscle mass. I cant put it in the technical terms you do 3j . However i know this to be true from the different ways we would train and eat going into a show prep cycle.

what decisions you make with your cycle is a personal choice, you know that time on + pct = time off. OR if you took baseline bloods before cycle and you reach those same levels 4-6 weeks after pct than thats a go ahead as well.
 
It just seems that only time and experience tells these guys the reality of how long it takes to put on , grow, build new muscle mass and hold it. It certainly is not in weeks or even one cycle. LMM takes months and years to develop and hold. This i speak of is not overall weight gains but the LM gain.

For me , in essence i am always bulking and only once a year or so i diet an cut to see my lean gains. However i am a naturally a lean guy.. skinny :( ecto..

But to see my real gains over months and months of bulking and stabilizing do i cut to see my true LMM growth.

For Test E 500 mg/wk if you wait 3 weeks after last pin your blood level would be just above natural levels, then PCT for four weeks minimum.

- So it would be better than only waiting 2 weeks ?!

- you mentioned "PCT for four weeks minimum".. is it better to do a longer PCT ?! If so for how long ?

These numbers are a bit hairy fairy, so take with a grain of salt....

At 500 mg/wk Test E after 3 weeks after last pin your blood level is about ~18ish. Natural production, meaning if your body made 10 mg/day pure test, would put you at a blood level of ~14ish. So waiting 3 weeks has you start PCT just above where you might be naturally, assuming you are normal. Then over the next four weeks it bleeds down to ~2.4ish - which 2.4/14 = still roughly 17% suppressed. So yes running PCT longer would have you exit with less Test E still in your system and improve your odds, but four weeks after three week gap is probably ok. If you only waited a gap of two weeks it would be less favorable.

That first week when you are still supraphysiological the clomid dose should be a bit higher than the remaining weeks. That's why you often see 100/50/50/50.

- but isn't 2.4/14 (for example) still low to exit the PCT ?! Shouldn't higher be better ?! I mean as long as my natural blood level should be about 14ish (for example) ?!

- i thought i should do 50/50/50/50, should i change it to 100/50/50/50 ?! Or to whole another setup ?!
