Cycle that will Promote Muscle Healing and get me leaned up?!

Hey guys Had an Injury about 2 years ago and I've been to physio a million times, 5 Different doctors/Specialists and Spent thousands on treatment with no luck on fixing my Back so I'm turning to the Forums here.

Originally Diagnosed as a "QL STRAIN" After months of pain and no progress I started getting pain in my PSOAS & Hips Predominantly And the Lower Back. All the LEFT SIDE. Occasionally my right side feels strained maybe due to overcompensation of the strained muscles.

So after about 2 years about a month and a half ago I was fed up of being depressed and sore and got back on the horse into the gym and started pushing through the pain saying "Fuck it"

I have had slow progress but after training with lighter weights/ Lots of cardio and focusing on getting my Core and Ab strength full tilt I have managed to relieve a bit of pain.

BUT it is still not 100% and that's where I think I want to turn to AAS. This has been a horrible 2 years as before the Strain I was training for comp and was about 190-195 8% BF looking very fresh. The gym and training was my life and was all I have been thinking about in this time and since the doctors or physios keep just giving me painkillers or bunk tactics I need to take it into my own hands and get better FAST..... A bit faster now as I am running out of money and need to get back to work but cant due to injury!!

As I stand right Now I am 24, 180-185 LBS 6 Feet tall, Eating In a calorie Deficit around 2150 Calories Per day. Trying to lean out the fat I have gained during down time.

My friend who's a Bodybuilder recommended Test E/Deca/Eq as a small cycle that would heal my muscles/Tendons up. I have read mixed reviews about the healing power of Deca And EQ. Could you guys elaborate more on good doses and or different compounds that can get me back in action!!! If something helped me lean out or helped me keep muscle while cutting that wouldnt be too shabby either ;)

Thanks in advance, Hopefully some quick replies, The quicker I get back to work the better!!

Pain sux but aas do not heal ---anything. Some alleviate joint s that are worn but healing injuries takes time and strengthening ur core is the best thing for back pain.

Jumping on a 3 drug cycle is not gonna be codusive to anything but setting the stage for more injuries. Keep stripping away the fat naturally and when your under say 14 percent and have built ur strength and stamina then turn to AAS. I live in pain every day ranging in nature from--
Ouch to oh shit. Knee back shoulder and neck. 5 screws in left knee, back fused, shoulder pinned...neck just hurts.

Patience and time will be better suited to a full recovery than masking an injury WORSE and really setting u back.

But that s me.

I just do not understand how its been 2 years with Docs and Physios treating me with little to no advancement in the way of pain. But thank you for the advice. I just want to be pain free:(

6 foot 185? Not to be rude but I think you should learn how to eat first.

Taking steroids before you get to your genetic potential will only cause you to fall short of your goal in the long run. See since you are elevating androgen levels to bring on new muscle tissues what happens when those androgen levels drop?

Does everyone else agree?

I agree with TooTuff, and want to add that a chiropractor solved my back issues that multiple MRIs, loads of drugs, and several baffled docs couldn't fix. Turns out my hip likes to "stick", and one quick adjustment (ok, he had to hop on me lol) with a few follow ups have had me pain free.

AAS could potentially make things much worse for you.

My .02c :)

Sorry I'm not sure if you even read the forum. I'm just coming off a back injury, Haven't trained in 2 years buddy. If you read I was around 200 LBS 8% BF Before Injury.....

Ok you got me :) I didn't read it all lol

Sooooo.... If you had an injury you lost weight because your T is probably low. There is a substantiative argument for you to do a trial run of TRT. Any more than 200mg a will actually have a negative effect on your recovery.

Eugonadal dosages may prove to be extremely useful in promoting a speedy recovery in your specific situation.

Talk to a doc of course :D

If I were you I would not touch any androgens yet. The concern I have is that because you have an injured back, training through the pain and using androgens will create a muscle imbalance. No matter how hard you try, your form will be asymmetric.

I like a suggestion already mentioned to see a chiropractor. Also, take up a vigorous stretching protocol that emphasizes the hamstrings and hips. Continue to lift responsibly.

TRT? Why would my T be low. I'm 23 and have never ran a cycle before. Probably losing weight because I was eating like shjit and doing nothing for so long.

Can test drop like that at My age from injury? Or were you assuming I was On AAS at time of injury?

Just because of the injury. I have seen TONS of labs of guys coming off of injury and there is one common theme, low T.

Not just borderline low either, rock bottom. Seen many guys test in the 100's after injury.

So like I said if you are in fact low (which I bet money you are) then supplemental dosages will expedite recovery. As I mentioned anything over 200mg per week will actually have the opposite effect and impede recovery.

Hope this helps.

On another note I know a guy who did peptide combo and got his T up to 900 naturally, since this is stimulatory this may be a better route for you.

GH is responsible for hyperplasia, which is just cell replication. This is all cells, cartilage, tissue etc.

Either way you can run out and get a hormone panel on private MD for like 70 bucks. If you did today you could have results early next week.

Personally I suggest getting the labs, regardless of what you do you will learn a lot about your body.

I was 24 when I became hypogonadal from pain killers post op. It took me just a scant TEN YEARS to find out that was the cause of my problems.

Not saying this is necessarily your case, but yes - it's VERY possible. I agree with DET; spending the money is TOTALLY worth it, I know I wish this stuff was around back in 2000-2001. :(

HYPOGONODAL?

@DET And @Halfwit.

Would It be a good idea to run this Idea by my doctor. Ask for Testosterone tests or w.e you do? or you said private MD can I request this through a walk in clinic? I'm in canada right now and we are very short on MD's very hard to get in to see a doctor

Hypogonadism = slow gonads

or low testosterone

get the test wherever you can. I wish I knew more about how Canadians do it but can't help you there.

Good luck.

As another Canadian, it is a pain in the ass to get bloodtests here. For my part of Canada (major city) a GP takes from 1 day to 20 days to see. If your doctor is not available, do you not have "Walk in Clinics", as I have in my part of Canada? If you have valid symptoms, the doctors at the clinics will give you a script for a blood test. It was my family doc that I convinced to give my the bloodtest, but I could walk in to a clinic anytime of the day if I wanted to. And you have emergency spots, if you don't mind a long wait.

I am lucky that I go to the US of A for most of my blood tests

Privatemdlabs is a site that allows you to get a blood test without a doctor's script. Unfortunately, it's not available in Canada to the best of my knowledge without driving to the US.

I like halfape's suggestion; hit a walk-in and tell them you would like a test for testosterone, estradiol, LA and FSH as you're feeling (look up low T symptoms). You can include your doctor of course, but many put the brakes on when they hear testosterone. :spin:

HalfApe and halfWit haha You guys bros?

so i ask for "testosterone, estradiol, LA and FSH" Test?

Why would my doc halt a test "Test" .... I have never been on juice before would that red flag him. ?

Yes, we're actually twins. Ever see the movie called Twins, with Danny DeVito and Arnold Schwarzenegger? That's pretty much it!!

Doctors believe Testosterone is only requested if you are trying to get juiced. Most Doctors believe Testosterone is bad for your health. Only doctors with hormone training actually know about the healing effects of testosterone.
