So I just started deadlifting and so i have a kinda bad back but my first time dling was
135 , 2nd was 200 , 3rd 250 , so i'm going up pretty good but my lower back already has pains in that i've had for years it but the belt helps alot but i'm not sure if i should keep going or not incase any future injuries more problems that could occur , i wonder if i should keep doing DL's untill it gets worse or something.

how should i go at it?
just go with lower weight or should i stop?

back injury is nothing to play around with. i avoid deads for this very reason. tried yoga or core work to build low back strength?

dont dead lift, your risking compression and then no lifting at all. all neutral spine exercises, get on the bars, work the back with pull ups and chin ups. tons of core work on the ground with a flat back

These guys are right. Don't deadlift. You need to work around your injuries, not make them worse. Do things that don't aggravate your back and as stated strengthen your core. I was deadlifting in the 600's recently but back problems just got too bad and I cut them out of my routine as well as back squats. You gotta take care of your body if you want to do this long term and feel good.

Thanks alot for the advice guys , I just started Dl'ing and I really enjoy it but I guess ima have to stop so soon :/ Yeah I just got a new job as well and theres alot of lifting/movement going on so i guess deadlifting will make it worse. I havn't tried yoga or anything like that but i'll try to do some other things , it hurts my lower back to do leg lifts as well when i lay down so i cut those out already.
