Deadlifts

when do you do your deadlifts?

If I am doing full deadlifts or rack pulls, I do them with the rest of my back exercises. If I am doing stiff legged deadlifts I do them with my other leg/hamstrings/quads/hip work.

yup that is what i do.
 
Sometimes I do deadlifts only for a short workout, but never just after a heavy leg day. Deadlifts on back day, except that my grip starts giving out by the end of the workout.
 
Right now i have a seperate day for deads, where i do posterior work after it, and a little back work. That is good now because i am trying to get used to pulling sumo in a suit for a tune up push pull i have this summer before i do some comps this fall. Now as far as the "offseason" i found i like pulliing right after i squat, mainly because of the added recovery time. I also pull sumo now, which is probalby a little easier on the body, but my training partner has been pulling conventional after he squats and seems to like it. All you really need for deads is 1-2 all out sets of 3-5.
 
i do full body workouts or WSB.
so for the former, everything gets hit anyway.
if it's WSB, then deads on lower body days. and as jcp2 said, deads can be done with 3-5 reps or even heavier singles and doubles.
there is a day during my full body workout routine when i do speed squats followed by speed deads though. well actually, speed squats, speed flat bench and THEN speed deads. i follow up with some pulldowns or pullups as assistance.

do you compete?
 
I am on a 2 day split so after front squats I do deads. I vary them with stiff leg ones every 2 or 3 weeks or do them before squats once in a while to keep things fresh. Still my best lift though.
