i do full body workouts or WSB.
so for the former, everything gets hit anyway.
if it's WSB, then deads on lower body days. and as jcp2 said, deads can be done with 3-5 reps or even heavier singles and doubles.
there is a day during my full body workout routine when i do speed squats followed by speed deads though. well actually, speed squats, speed flat bench and THEN speed deads. i follow up with some pulldowns or pullups as assistance.
