Deads...starting position..floor or rack?

I always start my deads from the outside pins of a power rack. I then go to the floor and back up and this is my rep. Was wondering if anyone else does it this way? I have found it is quicker and easier to change the the weights and I don't have that initial first strain to lift from the floor.......
 
always from the floor. if i'm not strapped, i'll let go and re-grip for every rep.
 
Same as Aczech, I just deal with loading and unpoading the bar while on the floor. I roll it up on a ten pound plate to get clearance for taking the plates on and off.
 
loading isn't too bad. For unloading, i lift up to four plates on the rack then unload from there.
