Death by synthol

Well rest in peace. At least his video may save some others from similar mistakes.

When you saw the arm semi dissected it appeared that the mass was a sort of thick lipid with little vascularisation.

Of course one could die from a steroid injection, but I presume that the huge amount of synthetic lipids are a happy breeding ground for certain bacterias and / or harder for the bodies immune system and anti-biotics to access.

There is a debate whether Greg Valentino used synthol, but he also had a nasty infection that was only treatable by hacking his arm.

Greg Valentino stated that he didn't use synthol but site injected, with the argument that people who injected into their asses seemed to develop big butts. Would prolonged use of oil based steroids start to create a synthol like effect at the site of injection?

This guy obviously was using extreme doses but many top bodybuilders have also had the finger pointed at them for using synthol. It's only when it's overdone and looks bad that you know about it.

I dont think so.

The body should break it all down, use it and carry it away. Would have to be very very large amounts?

The pharmaceutical industry used oil based suspensions without worry.
