Desperately looking for help

My son (6 years old) has pretty severe asthma. He's been to the emergency room a few times and we now have a nebulizer and inhaler at home. His asthma seems to be triggered primarily by colds. Pretty much 100% of the time that he gets a cold the dreaded "cough" starts soon thereafter. He is like 10 for 10 with colds and asthma.
We're really frustrated (and nervous) for his severe asthma attacks. He is too young and we are desperately looking for an alternate natural cure. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

he'll grow out of it most likely. younger kids tend to have a higher amounts of colds due to the fact their immune systems are still forming.

My daughter also had Bronchial Asthma as a child...it does get better as they get older and they do grow out of it. The nebulizer is the best thing for clearing those lungs...don't mess around with that. One thing you can do that also helped my daughter was getting allergy tests done to see if there a re any sensitivities to certain foods. Many allergists will tell you that when it comes to childhood bronchial asthma, cut out milk and dairy products, and it works!!! Try it out! Good luck!

Try getting a really good air purifier that covers a decent amount of square-feet. Maybe put one in or near his room and keep the air well-circulated. The less crap and mold there is in the air, the less-likely he is to get an asthma attack.
