Dextrose PWO on a cut or something else?

When I bulk I Usually alternate between 2 cups of blue berries and whey post workout or 40-50g of dextrose when I don't have berries.

Now that I'm cutting (naturally) I've lowered my calories and carbs but still have a pwo shake.....is it alright to still have the dextrose for the insulin spike or should I stick with berries or whole food?

thanks

I'm on a carb cycling diet w 3j. No fruit in my plan. Pwo he had me during shake w white bagel or white rice, both which made me tired/lazy. Switched to 30g of dextrose w 40g whey...working well. However, were all different and ur result may vary based on calorie intake for day, genetics, etc. Going w 3j was best decision for me...no guesswork and efficient diet.

Wavy maize (amylopectin) is a really simple starch that I like to use during cutting because I feel like dextrose makes me a little more bloated. Wazy maize is cheap and doesn't make you feel full or heavy after a workout like some sugars tend to do, IMO..
