Diet confusion

Well i am about six weeks into my cutting diet eating around 2000-2300 cals 220-250 grams of protein and 0-50 carbs a day. Eating really clean.

Now the weird thing is i have actually put on about two pounds from 178 to 180-181. Im not putting on fat because my body fat has lowered and i pretty much have my six pack back when before only about my top two were visible.

Also when i was bulking i did no cardio now ive been hitten it 5-6 times a week.

I guess my question is for my next bulk should i continue to do a good amount of cardio? and maybe still continue to keep the carbs low to a moderate range?

And also not sure why i am putting on weight? but my body comp looks much better so im forsure not complaining ha

How has your diet changed from your bulking diet when you transitioned into your cutting diet?

It is likely you could probably lean bulk easy depending on your genetics!

Well the real major difference is the carbs going from 250 to 300 a day to less than 50. Also was eating at around 3000 to 3400 cals a day. This is really the first time I've done a tru bulk then cut type diets strictly being that I'm only 20 and I used to just eat to what was better for the sport I was in at the time... Ha I'll take some good genetics

That's not really a huge jump in calories and carbs. You probably got some benifits from low cardio on that bulk cycle. Other than that I think you would not have seen much change between those 2 cycles...imo. You can expect a couple of pounds here and there. You probably gained some extra muscle that you didn't get before from the new exercises as well. I do 15 minutes of cardio every day on a bulk cycle. It's mostly to stay in shape and get a good sweat going. It sounds like you did well. Why change it if it's working for ya ? The question is, are you going to rollercoaster down and start burning muscle ? It happened to me one time. A real downer. I started dropping weight like crazy and couldn't stop it.

Also i was wondering if i can get some better examples of

Pro/Carb
Pro/Fat
I guess what i dont understand what would be an example of "too much fat" to consume with carbs.

Ex. with my breakfast i eat about 3-4 whole eggs and six egg whites plus a bunch of fresh spinach leaves so no carbs cuz it has around 15g of fat in the meal sound about right...?

Ya true i just hate doin the 4000-4500 cal a day bulk diets cuz its too hard to eat clean like that while in college and i just put on more fat then id like but i never used to do cardio when i bulked so im def gunna switch that up

Yup, I know what you're talking about. This is where things get a bit complicated. Just watch out for sudden weight drops in the next 2 weeks. You may have to put those calories back up to what they were pretty quick.
