There is a general consenses in the scientific community that some of the effects of DNP are, while uncoupling oxidative phosphorylation, that both heat and free radicals are produced. Perhaps the free radical production is minimal; and maybe not; hell if I know! But there does appear to be a scientific explaination behind the cancer _theory_, so bringing it up does have some merit. Of course, if somebody gets cancer, it is basically impossible to know for certain if they would have gotten the cancer or not if they had avoided DNP.
Personally, I prefer to avoid known (suspected) carcinogens as much as possible. And my personal speculation is that ephendrine is safer than DNP. But yeah, I can't prove it. Just my 2 cents, nothing more.
