Im running a nice test p tren a cycle. I just felt it kick in yesterday and sunday is supposed to be my rest day. Do I really need it? Do you guys take any rest days on a cycle?

I'm coming to the end of a 10 week blast.. I never had set rest days. I lifted when I wanted to as much as I could.. I don't like days off. Only took off when shit came up or just felt I had to rest. Had good gains though..
But don't listen to me.. just got back from the doc, high BP and cardiac issues.. maybe overtraining was part of the issues effecting my health?

Rest days are needed when you feel they're needed. Just don't ignore your body when it says it's time to rest. Rest is when you grow.

As above listen to your body, if you constantly feel tired your bodys telling you it needs to rest if not fucking smash it!

I would say if you want to build the maximum amount of muscle you need to experiment with how many days a week your body can handle working out. I think my best progress has been with 4 to 5 days a week. All though I would sleep about 10 hours a day and do nothing but work out. So that might have helped my recovery lol. I recommend you read about over training and make sure you don't have any of the symptoms.

You have to listen to your body. As the weeks of intense training go on your CNS will be able to pick up the work load but you have to listen to yourself and know when a rest day is going to help. I train 6 days a week and have for the passed 3 years. It wasn't always like that but I built up to it and it didn't take long to achieve. You need to make sure you are eating enough and doing work outs that keep you growing. Remember though, you have to make sure you don't over do it. That can have a nasty spiraling effect.
