Do you keep gains from one cycle?

Hello everyone, first post. Hypothetically if I did one cycle and then never looked back, would I keep my gains? A year after that cycle, would I still have the gains from it? Or do you need to keep doping to keep your gains. Just to clarify I would continue to lift, just not to dope.

Also I've been browsing around and I've seen pictures of people on this website who have taken stuff, yet are still small. I've been lifting for 4 and a half years, am 160 at 5'9, decently cut at 11% bf or lower. I've been feeling sore after all my workouts, but my strength hasn't increased for months, which is why I was thinking about a single cycle to break the plateau.
 
One cycle, done properly, will def give you some decent gains you can keep. But please keep in mind aas alone is no magic potion...you need to continue a good clean diet and pushing iron...
 
Yea of course! I was going to continue lifting like I have been, just thinking about using aas to help bust through plateaus. What would be a good first cycle that wouldn't make me into a monster, but help me get started?
 
Absolutely, as long as cycle was done properly, diet is in check and training stays intense the answer is yes. You get back what you out out in the long hall.
 
Test only for first cycles...read all the sticky's, then read them again...research is key, and everything you would ever need to know is in this forum. The guys will help you as long as your ducks are in a row and your at least 25. Other than that, dont be a douche, and they will help you get dialed so to speak...now go research!
 
Before reaching for gear to fix your plateau, think about what you're doing, what you've been doing, and see if your diet needs to be changed, work out routine, workout intensity, OTC supplementation such as creatine or protein. These are just a few ideas to consider that could drastically change your body.

For me, I lost an additional four pounds by changing the time I ate meal #2 and meal #3 in my daily routine. It could be something that simple.
