The carbide part of the die chipped a bit on the top but it was the punch that broke. It wasn't locked in place all the way and alignment changed so when it went into the 50ton press....BOOOOM

I bet THAT was a fun noise!

You'd probably have better luck hard-surfacing the punch and re-shaping it instead of welding the chip back on.

I drink rum and diet/caffeine free coke.
She came home with vodka and caffeine free regular PEPSI.

I swear her head is on backwards sometimes. She gets an A for effort though lol.

I don't go overboard, 3 drinks is enough to get me a good buzz for the night.

Does anyone ever have one of those nights where not matter how much they drink they just can seem to get truly drunk?

Diet coke and Sailor Jerry is all I used to drink (after I got tired of bacardi's 151), man after my own heart! Caffeine free regular drinks are like banging fat women. Sure it's something to do, but you're making one hell of a compromise just to feel like you're doing something almost worthwhile. :wiggle:

Having a rum/coke is a very nice way to wind down from the gym at night.
I nearly shit a brick when I saw it was regular this morning.
I would be more upset if she wasn't so damned cute.

Oh, that's not from today. That was Disneyland earlier this year. Pre-mixed in a bottle like that is my favorite walking around drink for theme parks, zoos, casinos, what ever

To send it out for a reface would take at least 4wks and the punch broke down by the base, didn't really chip. We have an EDM machine here for simple refaces (some need to be sent out) which I'm goin to see if it'll be enough to fix the face of the punch. Then I'll weld the punch back to the base, lap it in the die with some cutting compound, and pray it holds together haha

Just the one on my profile page is. I couldn't get it to work for my avatar. :( Yeah, I flip out when I get regular pop as that SERIOUSLY cuts into my carb intake for the day.
