Do you think one of them is using gear pt. 2

It's funny, I'm going to have to do at least 2-3 house warming parties.
One for my regular "straight and narrow" family.
One for my drinking buddies
And then the fun one ;)

That's the one that involves roofies, duct tape, a furry squirrel, and a pair of dice?

But considering how much your bank has fucked you over I'll restrain myself, don't think you need another one so soon lol. Did you fire your bank yet btw?

I'd stand outside the bank, just off their property, and 'educate' potential customers as they go in :)

I'm taking it several steps further:
I'm not using them - They lose 60k in interest
My friend isn't going to use them - Another 100k in interest gone
My realtor is deterring clients from them after this - They lose at best, 250k very likely considerably more.

On top of that, what they've done is blatantly illegal and I have proof in writing so I get to:
Report them to the state banking commissioner
Report them to the federal consumer financial protection bureau
Write a letter to my local newspaper letting them know to have their readers go over their mortgage paperwork which may lead to a class action lawsuit. After all, the bank did tell me they've closed mortgages that were disclosing incorrectly.
Report the 2 mortgage "professionals" handling my loan to the NMLS licensing people
Send a letter to the branch manager letting them know exactly why they lost my business.

So in closing, since they decided to choose to save money on closing costs I've cost them:
At least 400K in interest
A possible federal investigation
A possible state investigation
A possible class action suit

They could have avoided all of this if they were willing to negotiate closing costs after pulling funny business for 2 weeks straight. I'm a fair guy, mistakes happen, it's how you handle them that dictates the overall outcome. Any banking institution that screws up for 2 weeks straight without any attempt to make things right, instead choosing to piss away that much in favor of saving at absolute most, $3500 should not be in business. If I have my way, I'll help make that happen.

They pissed off the wrong Avido. :chomp:
