Do you think one of them is using gear pt. 2

My cats brother was around 20lbs. Fat fuck. Died from diabetes few years ago.

Itty Bitty, the big one in the video that started all of this, was about 23lbs for a while, but now he's a very frail and skinny old man. Rufus, Nerdles brother is still pretty young and all muscle. I should weigh him sometime.

AND that's what happens when you flush your semen down the toilet folks. It becomes a GIANT spooge monster!

Yea true...but the fact they force you to learn it when most don't need it to find success in life is crap.
I think if we taught people more accounting and basic/advanced MATH we would be in better shape.
In algebra we learn to find a formula and plug in numbers. A small percentage actually understands the concept behind the subject.
People would be far better off learning to manage money and balance a fuckin check book that way they don't need to take my tax money lol
That's so sad, yet so true. I am one course shy of being a math minor (could teach math in a school with that), yet I am honestly horrible with money. :o LOL What's even worse, my wife is a business major and she is even worse with money than I am! :spin:

The only thing school teaches you is how to become a good employee.
IMO, you don't gain much useful knowledge.

Think about it, regardless of the curriculum what are schools teaching you?
How to follow the leader
How to complete menial tasks with accuracy
How to not think for yourself
How to meet deadlines
How to follow a schedule set by someone else
How to work independently and in groups

What they should be teaching is stuff like oh
Critical thinking
Financial aptitude
How to start a business
Life skills in general
FFS, how to change a damned tire on a car or read a map

Has anyone learned anything in school that wouldn't have been more effective to lean in the field?
Actually, while I agree with most of what you said, I do feel that critical thinking is emphasized in my curriculum, although there is far too much theoretical and too little practical. "Let's calculate the force of a ball that was submerged 3m under water that explodes into the air 20m. We will discount air drag, wind currents, turbulence, assume laminar flow, and discount any possible viscosity of the water." Hmmm, so that experiment is worthless you say? I missed 5 points on an exam because I stated that gravity isn't a constant (it changes with elevation), and had to argue my way through - of course now I'm on the prof's "bad list" because I'm argumentative. :p

I did honestly learn more from the trade school I attended 11 years ago when it comes to troubleshooting circuits, but I am learning more now when it comes to modeling and designing them. I feel that the big difference is that my major is for a professional degree, while most kids today are seeking BA's and other worthless degrees like Art-History that have no real place in our society right now. Of course the tards taking worthless shit far outnumber those of us with real plans - which is why the FED is hosing our financial aid left and right.

Yup, posted last night. He showed up after dark missing his collar and very hungry. Not sure where he was but I'm sure he had a big adventure. Since then he's been alternating between being really affectionate and wanting to go back outside. Needless to say, he's lost his outdoor privileges for a while.
You're lucky you don't live down here in the southwest. Kitty would have been a nice dinner for the coyotes down here. I've seen them play with pets, only to lure them into their doom. It's clever really, but also sad when people's pets go missing as we know what likely happened.

WOO the bank finally disclosed my loan correctly!
It only took then 5 attempts.

Now I get to play hard ball to get these closing costs to disappear!

I knew you were going to have some anecdotal input lol.
You're right though, there are exceptions to the "rule"

Your story about having to argue gravity is exactly what I meant when I said that schools teach you to blindly follow.
If the teacher teaches you the sky is green and you say it isn't, you're wrong for being right.
You're wrong for having the guttural fortitude to stand up for what is right.
At which point, like you said, you're "punished"; until you get in line.
Reeducation I believe is what the North Koreans call it.

Trade specific schools are another exception; I equate them more to learning in the field than actual school.
What I meant by being more beneficial to lean in the field is that generally when you're learning in that environment, you have a vested interest and some experience already with what you're trying to learn.

An education without purpose is nearly useless.
