Ok, so recently, I have more then ever realized the importance of dieting, and am trying to learn more. Its so complicated! I mean, carbs are great, carbs are evil, ect ect.

Anyways, How is it that people are hitting 4k calories a day, without alot of fat in there diet? Or is fat not as scary as I think it is?

For instance, I am 200Lbs, so generally when bulking up or whatever, I aim for 300grams of protein and about 300carbs per day...

That breaks down to 2520 cals TOTAL, which leaves alot of calorie space to be filled! That means another 1000-1500 would be coming from fat? That CANT be good can it????

Depends on the fat source. In general fish oils, avacado, olive oil ect....are good Omega 3 fatty acids.

Avoid saturated fatty acids
unsaturated FAs are the form of fat you should eat
those are found in oils such as olive oil and so...
Unsaturated FA (polyunsaturated FAs) are called essential FAs , they can't be produced by the body and you have to take them in food

You need fat to lose fat... Simple as that.. Fats are not the enemy if you know how to treat them and eat the right ones

Anything in excess is bad for your health. Fat in moderation is absolutely necessary for the proper functioning of your body. Also concentrate more on LDL instead of HDL
