Does HCG have benefits other than maintaining testicle size and fertility?

I know HCG can maintain testicle size and fertility. Neither is all that important to me.

Are there any other benefits?

Although there hasn't been much research on the subject, many believe that hCG backfills hormonal pathways that would normally be shut down by exogenous testosterone.

The testes play a role in the production of hormones other than testosterone (progesterone, pregnenalone, DHEA, etc). When the testes shut down, production of those hormones may/will suffer. Keeping the testes functioning will allow them to continue producing those hormones.

Again, not a ton of research out there to draw from, but in this case I'm a believer based solely on anecdotal evidence.

There aren't many doctors or patients who routinely test for the hormones mentioned above, but the ones that do often find that testosterone administration without hCG has a negative effect on them. Patients who are on hCG usually don't have those problems. Some men choose to supplement their protocol with oral or transdermal forms of the hormones in the absence of hCG.

As always, bloodwork should be used to determine a need for this type of thing.

How about pain coming from your nuts? Is that important to you, Virginian?? lol Perhaps I'm not as tough as you, but I did not like the pain coming and going. :-)

I guess the other way of looking at this is: "What is the detriment of take HCG?" I see none except cost. :-) Oh..., and ditto on what Chiefy says

I have not had any pain or discomfort whatsoever in my nuts.

In addition to cost, another detriment is more injections, more time, more bother. I'm trying to simplify my life.

I guess what I really want to know is, will it improve sexual enjoyment and satisfaction is any way?

But what are the undesirable physical symptoms that people experience?

I have tried it both ways and my personal experience has been there is little difference in using HCG and not using HCG. I stopped using it because of that .....

just the progesterone production benefit alone is good enough for me.

keeping as many parts moving as possible just makes sense.

It will absolutely improve sexual enjoyment and satisfaction. No question about it. That alone should be good enough reason to incorporate hCG.
