We have been lowering my test dose. I also dropped a lot of body fat so we also lowered my Aromatase inhibitor (AI) dose just a bit. I wanted to keep tabs on my levels to see what is happening. So I set up for a female hormone panel at PrivateMDLabs.com and got the blood drawn last Friday. This is an inexpensive way to get total test and estrogen levels and a bunch of other stuff. The results were in my email box on Saturday afternoon (on a holiday weekend). Very impressive turn-around time on the tests results - this has been my experience every time.
The lab results were not that great. My test levels in the trough are still too high and my estrogen was almost 70 (it was about 30 a month ago - not good). So this was the information I needed. I adjusted my Aromatase inhibitor (AI) back to previous levels and I made some more adjustments on the test dose (spread out the time between pins).
I did not notice any symptoms relating to high estrogen levels (other than a tiny bit of acne which I now notice only in retrospect). I’m just happy I caught this early. My gut instinct on what was happening with my blood levels was just not correct. So … no need to wait until you feel like crap when you can get some basic testing done for about $50.
