I have seen it first hand. A 30 or 50 cal tracks for a long time before it starts feeling effects of gravity and wind.
Thats a lot of tin shacks.

I was watching a video a few years back. A bunch of reporters/random people way up on these distance hills talking about the war going on down in the little town. You can hear gunfire, etc. So far away even my own threat-o-meter would drop down and I would relax.
BAM! One guy is standing there an ZIP Straight between his eyes a round went knocking him off his feet. Suprisingly, he lived....the round was a tiny caliber and went between in and out between the top half of his brain doing far less damage than it could have. Craaazy crap.

On this one we differ.
I perfer to see our enemies turned into splatter art and posted for all to see.
Having seen first hand some of the atocities that people can do has changed my views.
Now, the only thing that I wish more is to see them suffer a bit longer before they expire.
I have no pitty or remorse for our enemies.
But, I respect your opinion.

lol. Its aight, I had the same opinion...I wanted to see all the wicked hanging from trees, or executed and left in piles for people to see...
but I realized what that was making me...
I advocate violence to bring change, at any cost. But I believe death when it is being brought should be swift, even to the wicked and evil. Less we ourselves indulge and develop a taste for suffering in others...
Not all of our enemies are wicked, not all of our enemies are bad people...some are good people just fighting under another banner, with wives and children...You do not want one of our soldiers destroyed skulls posted up on here for their wife or kids to happen by, do you?
The line between doing a duty, and wiping out the wicked and those who destroy, and becoming the same as them is a fine one.
At what point does a crusade become a simple bloodbath instead of a war based on a dedicated design? When we relish in the death of our brothers. Duty is duty, but delight in death is something far more sinister.
Given the proper time and place, I will be the first one to pull a gun, place it to a wicked mans head, and better the world...Does not mean I will enjoy it, bask in it, or photograph it. I believe many need to perish to bring balance to this planet again, but once again its not something i enjoy thinking about. Its a soon to be necessity in a world that is bound to fall into perpetual violence eventually.
I am an ex soldier, technically live to be a soldier again. And I know that if you let what is humane in you die, you let that which is human in you die.

I am a get even kind of person but wish to out grow it in the Word.
Forgiveness is very difficult to attain at certin levels of defile.
Vengence is often times a trigger seldom thought but more a default. Especially when it comes to the defenseless, elderly or especially --children.

And Zero, my wife knows me better than anyone and I don't think she could recognize my face if it was blown apart like that. lol
Besides, there is nothing fun about taking another persons life. Its just part of the job. Most people think snipers spend all their time during wars shooting people, yet we rarely take a shot in battle as that is usually the task of a grunt infantryman.
Of course when we get to do it its better because you can see their head explode.

As a civilian having never seen such atrocities in person this serves as a sobering reminder of what our troops go through to ensure my family's safety. I see plenty of horrific things in the fire dept, but that doesn't affect me. I would like to say thanks to all of you on here that serve and protect us.
