I did the online calculator thing to find my maintenance calories (on non lift days), and it said 2150 was maintenance. It is recommended to lose 1-2 lbs a week on a cut. So to lose 2lbs a week you would lower by 1000. Well, to lose 2 lbs that would put me at eating 1150 cals a day. Im on Keto so thats easy for me i dont even get hungry. What is your opinions on this?

Yes it's perfectly ok if your a 5,1 girl weighing 100lbs, but in all seriousness, even on keto you should only drop 500 cals and you'll be fine at loosing fat and maintaning mass. Doing 1100 cals a day you'll lose fat alright but you'll look like a kenyan marathon runner. I guess it's ok if thats what your lokking for...

Eat no fewer then 500 calories below maintenance levels, your metabolism needs fuel, not eating enough calories will make your body hang onto whatever fat it's got and start burning up muscle tissue... And you don't want this to happen..

Eventhough Keto diet is an effective method of losing fat (quickly) while preserving muscle mass... With keto because your muscles use glucose to produce the energy needed for lifting your lifts will go down very significantly..and if u drastically eat below maintenance level not only will u slow down yoru metabolism, but your training will be affected even more..

So stick to 500 calories below maintenance.
