Eating on Cycle

Hey folks, I have a question for anyone who can help. I'm taking 500 mgs of Test C. I'd like to know if I should raise my calories and my protein intake. My hope is to gain as much muscle as I can while on cycle. I weigh 200 lbs +/-. I take in about 200 grams of protein per day.

Suggestions?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Hey there, it kinda depends on what your current calorie count is like. If you're already eating over 4k calories per day...than i don't think you need to up your calories too much. i would recccomend at least hitting 250 grams of protein as that will put you at about 1.25 grams of protein per pound of bodyweight. Many on this forumn would encourage even more. However i do think it also depends on how much of that 200lbs of yours is lean body mass. It really is important to take into account your bodyfat% when determining your calorie count and protein intake. This can be said whether you are bulking or cutting.

I'm no where near 4000 cals. 250 grams of Protein ok that I can do. Unfort my BF% is between 20/24%. Chunky. But with muscle. I'll post a pic later when I get home. Prob is I was 245 at one point a big fat slob.

if your BF is between 20-24%, I wouldn't up your carbs because I presume that you want to see those muscles your building? up the protein, be careful of shakes because they sometimes have sugars and carbs, keep moderate carbs and pound the eggs, chicken fish and beef in every 2-3hrs. additional calories should come from proteins and fats and remember, carb timing is everything
