egg pastina (pasta) for ........

Is egg pastina (pasta) not spaghetti or fettucinni pastina good for complex carbs and cals. 1/3 cup is 220 cal, 8 grm protein, and 40 carbs. so 2 cups would be 1320 cals, 48 grm protein, and 240 carbs.
what do you all think of pastina (pronounced pustene).

tastes good, but you'd do better to eat whole wheat orzo or a larger noodle like spaghetti since white pasta is pretty high on the glycemic index.

if you're not worried about that, then i agree - the stuff is great.
 
it would be alright at a post workout carb source when bulking depending on your metabolism and what not. personally I would go with the whole wheat
