Egg Whites

How does everyone get them? i saw a guy on tv one time crack an egg open and he somehow kept throwing the yolk back and forth in each side of the shell until it was all that was left, but when i try that the yolk just falls in, i get pissed and say fuck it, i'll eat it like this anyway. And i know you can get egg whites in little milk carton's, but do you just drink it or what???

If you can't do the egg shell toss go to the store and get an egg white seperator. Should be around the pots pans and utensile it has a handle on it and forms a little wire basket so that the yolk stays and the white falls through. I wouldnt waste your money on the little carton things. You can drink them just fine they go best with a scoop of whey snd some milk in the blender with an ice cube or two.

cool, never knew they had a utensile like that out there,, thanks man.. oh, should i just throw the yolk out? and if i usually eat 3 eggs whole a day, how many should i have now if i get rid of the yolk? and is it alright if i leave one yolk in?

there are cartons of egg whites you can buy at the grocery store....

and i will cook them in either the microwave or a frying pan. i know jen makes a mean omelet with egg whites - ask her for her recipe. i'm boring and i'm happy eating them with salt.

I eat like 5 egg whites and one whole egg. Toss the other yolks. Actually what I do is buy 1 dzn of the egglands best because they are grain fed free roaming hens and they contain 110 mg of omega 3 per serving. I use that egg for my whole one and just the cheap eggs for the whites. I scramble them or throw on a slice of lowfat cheese in between 2 pieces of wheat toast and you got an egg and cheese sandwhich. Hope this helps.

I eat 10egg whites and 1yolk every morning. i buy the pasturized egg whites in cartons(they equal 8 egg whites each), then add 2 more egg except throw out 1 yolk. Ill whip them up until foamy to make fluffy eggs then cook them in a pan with Pam nonstick cooking spray. Also will make an omlet with peppers, mushrooms, broccoli grilled before hand and then just pour the eggs in, let it get all fluffy and flip you could add some low fat cheese if you wanted.
sometimes I'll add another whole egg at another meal.

Interesting ways to make eggs here,,, i usually just took 3 whole eggs and scrambled them up then sprinkled gratted cheese on top before i eat em,,, i'll have to try these other ways. Thanks for the tips.

Do you ever add Salsa to the omeletter after it's done? I spoon a few tablespoons of hot salsa over the top once it's done.

yuppers love salsa on my eggies too! have you tried the lime salsa? its awesome!! has a bit different taste than regular salsa (could be the lime juice added) but tastes great on eggs.
call me crazy on this one too... but I LOVE peanut butter on my eggs!
