Egg Whites

I've always been confused about this...

How exactly do you just get the white of the egg?

How beneficial is just a regular scrambled egg?
 
The controversy is over the cholesterol in the yolk. Of course eggs are a good source of protein so eating that many yolks in the run of a day is a bone of contention for some.

You can buy little egg separator gizmos that basically look like a little basket that hold the yolk while the white drips down into a container.

Or if you have patience, and some time to practice, you simply crack the egg in half and pass the yolk back and forth between the two halves letting the whites fall.

Finally, all that aside, you can buy pasteurized egg whites already separated in your dairy case. :)

i hard boil, and peal. i was eating whole eggs for some time, but got shook when i watched a special on cholesterol. Now i just eat the whites. You could also buy a case of just pure liquid egg whites, they like like pudding cups. Then you just pour them out on the frying pan, then eat.
 
crack the egg open, hold one hand over the pan with your fingers only slightly seperated and pour the contenets in that hand. the white should pass through your fingers while the yolk remains in your hand.

I've been doing it this way for years. It's a little messy but it works great.

Also; the egg yolk has most all of the fat and cholesterol of the egg whole the egg white is mainly all protein.
