The last surviving great granddaughter of the founder of Lilly pharmaceuticals, Eli Lilly, died today at age 94. In 2002 her net worth was estimated at over 1 billion dollars. She had donated over 500 million to charitable organizations prior to her death. She was declared incompetent in 1981 and her assets were managed by a court appointed receiver.
