Eq powder qs

A friend received this a few days back.He needs to know if it should have a strong scent to it.Hard to explain what exactly.It came in yellow liquid as expected.This just for peace of mind.Appreciated in advance.

sounds like eq, it will smell kinda funky. looks like yellow syrup.

Is EQ more likely to be shipped in a vial or sealed bag like other powders?
