I answered his question. Their is a relationship between them. Yes DHT is the hormone that is said to shrink the hair follicle until it dies.

He needs to ask a more direct question. The question he asked is the equivalent of asking a mechanic "does gas have a relationship with your car running"

Let me ask the question a little more precisely.

I am seeing a little hair thinning. I know DHT is a direct cause, but I don't know how to lower my DHT. Can I lower DHT? If so, how? Would keeping E2 under good control lower DHT?

there is a slight inverse realtionship between e2 and dht so lowering e2 wont help anything.
Finsteride and dutasteride lower dht (duta more effective). You can also try topical approach like nizoral 2% or topical spiro. There are options. As was said do some research and ask some specifics and you have a better chance of getting the answers you are looking for. You have plenty of info to look for at this point.
