Extremely high E2/arimidex dosage

Just had some labs done from 300 mgs of testosterone a week.

Test- 1200's
Free test- 333
E2- 290
Shbg- 20

My question is about the arimidex dosage my doctor put me on. He wants me to take 1mg of arimidex every day for 30 days to knock E2 down and then recheck of labs Will be done and adex dosage will be adjusted accordingly. . Is that too high of a dose, granted E2 was 290 which is extremely high. TypiCal side effects lethargy, tired after eating, low libido, ED. only taking test and I'm 30 years old and in good shape. He also wants test dose stretched out over 10 days instead of 7. I'm just concerned about crashing my E2

Too much. Way too much. You will not be happy if you take that much and tank your E2.

First of all, when was the blood work taken relative to your last injection? I am trying to see if your results are peak or trough.

What is your body fat %?

These things will help us recommend a starting AI dosage for you.

How long had you been on that protocol before getting the blood work.

Injecting once every 10 days is a horrible idea. Your doctor doesn't understand how test's halflife works (assuming you are on cypionate or Enanthate). Tell usnif the ester is something else.

It wouldn't be an injection every 10 days, it would be 300 mgs spread out over 10 days. My last injection prior to the blood work was about 3 days. I've been on that dose of test for roughly 6 months. I'm horrible at guessing BF. IM 5'11" and pretty lean with abs, but to give you a % wouldn't be fair cause I have no idea. I know abou half life's and understand all of that. I've done my research but i couldn't find any protocols with an E2 that high.

Try starting at .25mg of Arimidex twice a week (every 3.5 days). It is a very powerful medication. A little goes a long way and it sounds like your body fat % isn't too high.

Bad idea indeed. It is very likely that you have already crashed yiur estradiol to nearly 0 which means your penis is not going to be doing anything. Sorry to break the bad news to you you. Your doc really gave you terrible advice.

I would wait 2-3 weeks on the adex if it were me. You just take a buttload of Adex.

Listen to mega and make the adjustments accordingly. Tell the doctor you felt lousy and lowered the dose. Your doctor shouldn't have a problem with a lower dosage especially under the circumstances. They usually get weird when you use more than they ask not less.

Could you post the reference ranges for your labs? Not all labs use the same tests and/or ranges, so it's kinda hard to figure out how out of control your estradiol really is.

But yea, that Adex protocol is insane. Possibly the craziest one I've seen here yet. No good will come from this.

Your testosterone protocol needs some work as well.

I seriously doubt your E2 is 290, you probably are looking at your total estrogen.

I just called doctors office to double check the labs. Estrogen was at 245, not 290, I apologize again, and the range is 60-190. I'm assuming this was total estrogen.

Total estogen is worthless. You need to check estradiol. I can't believe your doc did that to you. You should fire the clown.

Crap. So is there a chance my estradiol is normal and still have high total estrogen? The reason I even went to get labs done was because my libido dropped off, penis would get hard and then get soft, extreme lethargy, tired after I ate, emotional over Stupid shit I saw on TV, although bloating wasn't noticeable. Sounds like I should have just came here as opposed to going to my doctor, or at least came here before hand so I knew what labs to get. Regardless, Im stopping arimidex as of now. I appreciate all the info

Both. It lowers all types of estrogen.
