Eyesight is getting weaker

I use computer too much. At-least 8 hours a day. Now i,m starting to feel that my eyesight is getting weaker day by day.I can,t stop my work. Please give me a solution to keep my eyes safe while working this much.

Yep same deal here. I'm at the computer 8+ hrs every day. I'm very nearsighted so my DR wants me to try multifocal contact lens, going to get fitted this coming Thursday. He did say I'm straining my eyes looking at the screen all day with my glasses and recommended multifocal contact lens. Do you wear corrective lenses?

That's awful, staring at your computer for 8 hours a day? Ouch. It's to bad there wasn't some way to make it less straining. I'm assuming its for work?

I think your best bet is to get to the optician matey and get your eyes checked. In the meantime you could use some eye drops for a bit of relief ( Similasan Irritated Eyes is one ). You could also take a break from your screen ever now again, I think If you work in an office your supposed to or are allowed to take a break from your screen every 50 mins or so, for this reason. Hope this helps a little buddy.

Feel your pain mate.
I'm a technician so same issue here except I have the joys of looking into database codes with two monitors. One eye just starts going wherever it likes after about 5 hours. by the end of the day I cant see a right lot.
I'm just accepting it lol

In the early morning you have to put fresh water drop in your eyes, it is good technique this will never weak your eyesight.

Eat carrots to improve your eyesight and do eye exercises as well
