my olympic bar is a little un even so its umcomfortable doing exercises such as curls. I have been using an ez curl bar but i was wondering hat the draw back is?

A standard Olympic bar's just a little long for curls, for most bodybuilding movements best to use a shortened version of an Olympic bar.

Drawback of the EZ curl bar is that it doesn't hit the bi's as directly, puts more emphasis on the forearms; sure it's a little more comfortable than a straight bar. Dumbells are a better alternative to using a straight bar; I use the EZ bar only for tri's.

I gained alot of size using the ez curl bar. I love it. Straight bar gives me tendonitis in the inner elbow tendon, plus, it doesnt do squat for me for some reason.

I also like db curls, and bent over curls to opposite shoulder, and reverse curls.

Incline dumbell curls are the ultimate for myself.

Remember to perform the twist motion during your reps, and you'll experience a pump like no other.

Twist...? Like from normal position to hammer...or hammer to normal?

whatn would happen if you just went straight up with the dummbel instead of twisting it at the bottom?

aslo wouldnt it be good if they made a ez curl bar with less of an angle so it was only slightly camberedm, just enough to be comfortable.
