Fat Burner Suff...

Ok guys I am a 30 year old 5'11 now 260 lbs fat boy. I was an athlete all my life and weighed 235 lbs at the peak of my fit level. Being 5'11'' 235 is over weight and all but I was fit and have always been a big guy. Pops (my father who's an MD for the record) said that I'll never be the guy that follows the charts and diagrams' normal ratings. Anywayz I am going to do a Sustanon 250 cycle but not anytime soon. I need to loose some BF; a lot of BF! After consulting a few people and the guy at the health food store I have purchased a fat burner product called Rapid Thermal C3 from PPN. I am on the Atkins diet and naturally loose weight faster than most people. I am hoping that some people here can help or guide me with any success or failure/confidence with these types of products. I'm not a guy trying to not exercise or eat all I want (like my older sister) and still loose weight. I know that diet and exercise is key; being a football, soccer, weightlifter I am dedicated. I was also interested to know if doing a cycle with a higher body fat will help me loose the remainder of my body fat if I do lighter weights and more reps. I have always been under the conclusion that no matter what cycle you use your diet and exercise dictate what type of cycle your on. Soooo If I can get my BF down to lets say 25% and I cycle for Lean Muscle can I go down to oh lets say 8-10%? Just curious...

Save the fat burner for a long time. Put it in your nightstand and forget it. Its a crutch and will not help you in the long run.

Proper long term consistent nutrition will get you down to whatever you want to be. Just will take you longer then you expect or probably want but your health will be better for it.

Agreed. Also, going from 25% to 10% is a very unrealistic expectation for a first cycle. Youll likely put on bodyfat. It takes time, usually years, to learn how to eat to gain muscle and get lean because its different for every individual. Figure all this shit out before you take anything and youll be alot better off.

I am projecting at least 18 months so I guess I wasn't that far off from most likely time frame of reaching some goals.

Man look into switching from atikins to CKD or TKD and lift.

Sounds like you use to workout and have not for a while so you are going to have that 6 month Newb window where you can recomp and lose fat and gain a bit of muscle (strength for future muscle) at the same time don't waste it.

ALA is one of your best friends on a keto diet and much more worth the investment then fat burners IMO.

ALA/R-ALA- Gets my supplement of the day award. R-ALA is effective in lowering the spike of insulin when certain carbs are consumed. I could give you a dissertation on the stereoentisomeric properties of the R, but all you need to know is that it has been found to shuttle carbohydrates away from adipose and into myocytes. Translation: Away from fat cells, into muscle cells. It’s a supplement, however, not a miracle worker. It’s not a crutch, and won’t do anything about fat intake. ALA and R-ALA can also aid in the expedition of the ketogenic state. Remember that if you buy R-ALA that you supplement it with Biotin. Glucorell-R is prepackaged with it. If you can afford it, go for it. As far as dosage, with the R, you are looking at 1-2 pills of Glucorell R for each 30-40grams of carb intake.

Read "The Ketogenic Diet" and you will understand so much more about how restricting carbs works it will change your life if you are serious about low carbs.

Also if you finish that and like dry informative type reading Good Calories, Bad Calories is a great book.
