SO as the title states whats the current thought on this, I know I know plenty threads asking the same question if its okay to use A 1 INCH FOR GLUTES, AND I KNOW THE BEST ANSWER IS TO JUST GO 1.5 OR 1 IF YOUR LEAN BUT..

Im maybe about 16-18 bf right now, don't really track BF to much, don't really care, Im looking good enough for myself and loving it, that's what matters...but I have a lot of junk in the trunk as the ladies would put it..just a big ass, with fat attached...definitely not lean back there..but recently started pinning glutes with 1 inchers I have..I was doing only quads and sometimes delts since I only pin twice a week, but about 2 weeks ago hit a nerve twice in the same attempt at a quad and that shit danced and trembled and scared the hell out of me, have tried again just too nervous to go back there again yet..anyhow so started doing my glutes with the 1 inchers, its all I have and well its been going good..i mean I don't know what to look for but no abcess or nothing like that has occurred, don't know how to really tell if its going in sub q instead?

Anyhow would continuing this if it seems like its working be a bad thing? Would it maybe be absorbed less? Or do I just get the 1.5's..would hate a bigger needle than I need to have..but if its a must, which is my question is it a must even though things seem fine as is?

Thanks

There does seem to be a question lately of whether the needdle is long enough to inject into muscle or fat and whether either is better... There is a difference but in the grand scheme of things (especially when you're injecting twice a weeks in different spots), its not going to matter. The needle length is less painful than the gauge (thickness)... At least until you stab right into a bone! At 1.5", you shouldn't ever have any issues with depth, except maybe in the delts, at which point I'd just go slow and see where you land.

Nerves are hit and miss, you'll learn over time where your sensitive spots are, and avoid them like the plague!

Thanks OC..yeah I figured I just had bad luck that day with the nerve..but it was back to back and I just couldn't again..willtry again later this week and prob get me some .1.5 s as well

Just keep trying, there's never a good enough excuse to give up on here ;)

Well, there is, but hitting a nerve isn't it! Guarantee in another couple weeks, you'll look forward to pin day
