Hi Ladies,
thought i'd start this thread, so we can help each other in keeping our diet healthy clean and diverse
what is your favorite meal/recipe?
mine currently,
miso orange roughy:
1tbsp Miso Paste (shiro or white miso)
1/2 tbsp rice wine vinegar or sake
1/4 tsp ginger powder
1/4 tsp onion powder (not salt)
1/2 tbsp toasted sesame oil
1/2 a packet of splenda (or more according to taste)
a few grinds of black pepper
3-4 good sized Orange Roughy Fillets
canola oil cooking spray
-pat fillets dry
-combine first 7 ingredients into a uniform paste.
-brush fish on one side with paste, very thin layer, this is packed with flavour.
-preheat a non-stick pan on Medium High for 2-3 min.
-spray fish with canola spray on the side you have facing up (the one with paste on)
once pan is heated, place fish in pan, paste side down, cook 1-2 minutes, untill browned, spray non seasoned side and flip fish over, cook for an additional 30second.
remove from heat and enjoy! nummm!
do not over cook fish, if your filets are extra thick, preheat oven to 350 degrees and once the fish is out of the pan, place in oven to finish cooking with low heat for 10 minutes.
this is great served with steamed snow peas, broccoli, sugar snap peas etc.
and maybe some Quinoa and beans as a carb
hope you like it, and hope to find out all about your favorite recipe so i can add it to my arsenal of good healthy meals
