I guess this isn't nice. Given that I'm no longer cutting, but I guess some of you are
What foods are your favourite for refeeds/carb rich/bulking ?
I go for simple sugars: Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Swedish Berries make my day.
Seemingly the longer I cut, the better sugar tastes. Like every damn spec I become super sensitive to once I've removed it from my diet. Kind of like when you cut/limit salt, you start to taste the salt naturally found in foods.
I'm currently on a chocolate bar rampage with my controlled bulk. Walmart has them pretty cheap (in Canada at least). $2 for 12 reese cups (they seem slightly smaller than regular cups in the 3packs, but still a good deal). Walmart carbs + buying protein powder online keeps my food costs down quite a bit.
Other notable mentions:
Caramel Popcorn ($1/170g bag at Walmart)
Tomato and Basil Quaker Rice Cakes. These things are tasty as hell. Cheap too.
I went through a poptart phase (s'mores) but they no longer do anything for me.
Just trying to get ideas for new simple carbs to try out. Unfortunately I can/have overdone it. Usually after coming off a long cut I rebound about 2-3 lbs in a weekend feastathon before I get control of myself. Last long weekend I tracked 8000 calories in a single day. I wish I had the "problem" of getting enough calories in
